| Just
being good at something isn't all you need to be a good teacher! Teaching in an
art in itself. You need a lot of patience and the ability to explain things in
a clear and simple manner. You also need the ability to see things from someone
else's point of view so as to know how best to explain things, and tackle problems,
in a way that each person will understand. Everyone is different and needs a slightly
different approach. Sarah prides herself on her ability to see the best and easiest
way forward for each of her students. | |

attended the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), studying for their Advanced
Certificate, a level three qualification. She passed the exam with distinction,
and has been teaching electric guitar since July 1999. | | | | | | | | Whilst
at the ACM Sarah was lucky to attend many masterclasses with top bands and musicians.

trained during 1997 at Wellington Riding near Reading as a working pupil to gain
her BHSPI (British Horse Society Preminary Instructor). She was then offered a
permanent position as an Instructor and Deputy head of school yard. | | | | | | | During
the next 8 months she worked towards and completed the number of required hours
teaching to gain her full BHSAI (Assistant Instructor), as well as her NVQ level
3 in Horse Care & Managment including Riding as a specialist unit. Her time
there was invaluable, not only giving her a wide variety of teaching experience,
but also in building her confidence immensely. | | | | | | | | | |

started her Judo career when she was 10 years old. By the age of 13 she was helping
out several nights a week with the lower grades and beginner's lessons. In 1990
at the age of 16 the club asked her to teach a lesson of her own. | | | | | | | | | | | Now
as well as running her own Ju Jitsu club, she teaches an adult judo lesson, has
taught at many local martial arts seminars and had several requests to give private
